Return Policy

At The Modest Muse, every item is carefully hand-inspected, hand-ironed, and securely packaged before it leaves us. We want you to feel confident that your order arrives in perfect condition.

If you still wish to return your order, please review the following policy:

How to Return

  • You must initiate your return request within 5 days of receiving your item by emailing us at info@themodestmuse.co.uk. Any requests initiated past this timescale cannot be processed. 

  • Once approved, you are responsible for arranging and covering the cost of return shipping.

  • All returns must be sent using a tracked delivery service, and you must provide us with the tracking number.

  • Your item must be received back within 7 days of delivery to you.

  • Items sent back without prior approval will not be accepted.

Eligibility

To qualify for a return, items must be:

  • In the same condition as received (unused, unworn, and unwashed).

  • With all original tags attached.

  • In the original packaging.

  • Accompanied with your details.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Sale items.

  • Custom or personalised items.

*Eid Orders are strictly none returnable after Eid.*

Damages & Issues

Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us immediately at info@themodestmuse.co.uk if:

  • Your item is defective or damaged.

  • You received the wrong item.

We will work quickly to make it right.

Exchanges

Once your exchange request has been reviewed and approved, you will be required to return the original item to us.

The item must be sent back in its original condition. Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will process your exchange.

A replacement item of the same specification and equal value will then be dispatched to you.

Please note that exchanges are only issued after the returned item has been received and approved upon inspection.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of approval or rejection. If approved, refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please allow time for your bank or card provider to process the refund.
If more than 15 business days have passed since your return was approved, please contact us.
